The new “Free” has been specifically redesigned to meet the needs of patient mobility within the ward, engineered for extended daily use by patients with a fair degree of mobility.

Thanks to its range of installable accessories, this chair is the ideal solution for patients requiring treatment administration. Significant added value is provided by the height-adjustable armrests: when lowered to their minimum setting, they facilitate lateral patient transfers from bed to chair and vice versa. When raised to their maximum height, they provide lateral containment and serve as an excellent support point to assist the patient when standing up.
All steel frames are finished with epoxy powder coating and treated with an antimicrobial additive.

Patient Access & Ergonomics:
A standout feature of the RELAX chairs is the ability to assist the patient with side access and egress. By lowering the comfortable armrests below seat level, these operations are significantly eased for both the patient and the healthcare provider.

Transport & Stability:

A pair of flexible anti-tip footrests, which are easily retractable and stowable, provide comfortable support during medium-to-long distance transport.
Four single, non-marking, anti-static swivel castors, complete with parking brakes. The inclusion of one directional (tracking) wheel ensures safe, straight-line steering over long distances.
