Added value is provided by the height-adjustable armrests: when lowered to their minimum setting, they facilitate lateral patient transfers from bed to chair and vice versa; when raised to their maximum height, they provide lateral containment and serve as an excellent support point during patient lifting.
All steel frames are finished with epoxy powder coating treated with an antimicrobial additive.

A pair of flexible anti-tip footrests, which are easily retractable and stowable, provide comfortable foot support during medium-to-long distance transport.
The chair is equipped with four single, non-marking, and anti-static swivel castors, complete with parking brakes. One of these is a directional (tracking) wheel, ensuring safe and linear steering over long distances.
