The e-Drive technology, integrated directly into the push handles, activates the motorized wheel only when the handles are gripped and pushed (forward or backward). The system provides proportional speed control: acceleration and deceleration increase or decrease based on the amount of force applied by the operator. Upon releasing the handles, the system engages an automatic gradual braking force for maximum control.
The motorized 5th wheel can rotate 90° to the right or left, specifically to facilitate lateral movements. Furthermore, the specialized design of the side bumpers, combined with the variable height adjustment and the absence of lateral protrusions, allows the stretcher to be placed flush against hospital beds or diagnostic equipment, minimizing the effort required for patient lateral transfer.
The total absence of structural elements between the mattress platform and the X-ray cassette holder (potter) allows for the inclusion of standard chrome-plated guides along the entire longitudinal length of the stretcher. This enables full-body X-ray imaging without moving the patient during critical clinical situations.
- Material: 10 mm self-supporting HPL (High-Pressure Laminate) ensures complete radiotransparency.
- Ergonomics: The generous dimensions and smooth movements of the platform provide high comfort during both urgent interventions and prolonged stays.
The lifting columns are positioned at the extreme ends of the frame to clear a large unobstructed area beneath the platform. This allows for the use of a C-arm image intensifier from either side of the stretcher.
With just three bilateral controls, every movement is intuitive. This makes the Slim Series stretchers simple, extremely flexible, and highly functional for daily clinical use.
