3-section stretcher, hydraulic height adjustment with motorized 5th wheel
The evolution of hospital emergency environments has created the need for a stretcher that goes beyond mere inter-departmental transport. Today's stretcher must function as an immediate operational platform for urgent medical procedures.
Operational safety is of paramount importance, and Givas has pushed the boundaries by introducing an assisted guidance system. This features a motorized retractable 5th wheel controlled by a system integrated into the push handle (e-Drive system). This technology completely eliminates operator physical strain during long-distance transfers or when transporting bariatric patients.
The e-Drive control console is located at the head end and includes a safety lock button. The stretcher features an HPL (High-Pressure Laminate) mattress support platform and a base cover shroud with dedicated oxygen cylinder holders.
Movement is optimized by 150 mm swiveling castors, the motorized 5th wheel, and a centralized braking system. The stretcher is fully equipped for emergency care with:
- CPR levers for rapid backrest lowering.
- I.V. pole support and an integrated storage tray.
- Corner bumpers and a rechargeable battery.
- A dedicated lock/unlock system for the X-ray cassette holder.
