STRUCTURE
The base is made in sturdy, thick steel profile, painted with epoxy powders, composed of an extended anti-tipping base equipped with adjustable feet and a column that contains the electric motors and the control unit.
The base is covered by a shaped thermoformed ABS casing that is easy to clean and sanitize. The upper part of the cot is made up of a support frame for the lying surface, complete with all the movement joints, made of epoxy powder painted steel.
The intermediate frame supports the side guides with the possible rear roll holder (optional).
The structural components of GIVAS beds are painted with epoxy powders with the addition of Biomaster 999 antimicrobial additive, an effective means to fight the development of MRSA, VRE, E.Coli, Salmonella, Campylobacter, Legionella and over 50 different species of bacteria. It has been shown to DRASTICALLY reduce the presence and reproduction of bacteria very quickly. An integral part of our products providing permanent and long-lasting protection against the threat of contamination.
LYING SURFACESThe lying surfaces are padded with sheets of class 1 IM fireproof expanded polyurethane with a density of 40 kg/m3, for excellent anatomical adherence; high-tech, class 1 IM fire-retardant surface coating, washable and disinfectable. The coating is guaranteed long-term against external agents.
It is resistant to abrasion DIN EN ISO 5470-2.
It is resistant to dirt DIN EN 15973.
Color fastness DIN EN ISO 105-A03.
It is biocompatible: DIN ESO ISO 10993-5 cytotoxicity; DIN ESO ISO 10993-10 hypersensitivity; biological harmlessness in accordance with DIN EN
ISO 10993-1.
It is resistant to disinfectants, sweat and massage oils. The coverings are seamless. The backrest is equipped with a thermoformed ABS finishing
shell to facilitate cleaning and disinfection operations.
MOVEMENTSThe bed is controlled by a wired pushbutton control system using 6 commands that allow the variation of the height, the inclination of the backrest and the movement of the Trendelenburg. The leg rest can be adjusted in two positions and is removable, to facilitate medical procedures and give maximum comfort to the patient.
