Electric chair for multifunctional therapy and blood sampling with integrated weighing system
L 110-206 / P 81 / H 58-88 cm
Givas' continuous research into creating innovative, practical and multifunctional products has generated the new AP4300W, a 3-section armchair, with integrated weighing system and fully electric variable height, backrest and leg movement functions, enabled by an LCD display button panel which controls five independent electric actuators, simplifying the correct positioning of the patient for healthcare workers.

Special padding in flexible polyurethane foam and Memory Foam with differentiated density and high resilience, guarantee excellent comfort for the patient even for long periods of standing.

The covering in fireproof, water-repellent material and the absence of stitching in the contact surfaces guarantee quick and practical sanitization of the aid itself.

Using 4 buttons and an LCD display with intuitive icons, it is possible to move the AP4300W in any position, reducing the timing of urgent movements and promoting personalized comfort for the patient during periods of long periods of parking.

Managing movements via pairs of specific keys, implementing synchronized movements, is the safest, simplest and fastest way that GIVAS has on the AP4300W.

A multifunctional armchair has multiple movement possibilities, which is why the synchronized control for positions such as:
SITTING - COMFORT - EXAMINATION - ANTISHOCK and TRENDELENBURG are managed by the software via synchronized parameters, allowing these positions to be reached automatically, facilitating the intervention of the healthcare operator.

Deriving maximum practicality and ergonomics of use from each construction component of the product is the objective that Givas has always set itself.
Compositional elements with a simple and functional design facilitate prompt intervention in case of emergency, and the armrest of the new AP4300W is the result of our construction policy.
Particular assembled structural elements allow the personalized setting of the armrest in every required position, allowing adjustment in height, inclination, extensibility and rotation, promoting total patient comfort and full operation of the healthcare worker.

The particular containment shape of the armrest of the new AP4300W guarantees stability of the arm during intravenous administration or withdrawal, while the particular graduated joint allows horizontal rotation with an external radius of 90° for ideal positioning and facilitating patient access/exit .

A peculiarity of the AP4300W armchairs is the possibility of accessing and consequently raising the patient from the sides, with the help of the comfortable armrests which offer valid, safe and ergonomic support, making these operations easier also for the healthcare worker.

WEIGHING SYSTEM
The chair weighing system is made up of 1 load cell completely integrated into the chair structure. The position of the sensor has been designed to protect the system itself as much as possible, guarantee excellent durability over time and reduce potential technical failures due to improper use of the instrument.
The weighing system uses 1 load sensor with precision class C3, IP65 protection and with a nominal capacity of 300 kg. The chair guarantees excellent repeatability and reliability of the measurement thanks to the correct distribution of the load, avoiding torsions and stresses, considerably prolonging the life of the instrument.

Ergonomic ABS weight display. Ideal for sanitization. The display is placed on a support that allows it to be moved front and back with respect to the backrest so as not to create unnecessary bulk.
The weighing system is equipped with a dedicated rechargeable battery capable of continuing to work for 60 hours in the event of a power failure or fault in the electrical system.
System capacity: 150kg
The capacity of the weighing system is consistent with the safe working load.
Division/Accuracy: 50g
The chair's weighing display was designed with the aim of making the weighing system effective in the world of hospitalisation, nephrology, dialysis and sub-intensive care.
The design of the keyboard and the functions have been studied with the aim of providing the necessary data to the operator and the double LCD display allows you to simultaneously view weight and body mass index (Body Mass Index).
20-key LCD weight display equipped with a dual LCD electronic terminal with triple reading to simultaneously display weight and BMI. Equipped with RS-232 communication interface for possible data export to PC, through dedicated information software wMed, or software dedicated to the world of dialysis such as Sined, etc.
Rechargeable and replaceable battery without necessarily removing the approval constraints.

ON/OFF FUNCTION: button
ZERO FUNCTION: manual zeroing, automatic tare
TARE FUNCTION: allows you to tare the patient's clothes by manually setting the value to be subtracted
CHECK WEIGHING: activation and deactivation of weight control
EXPORT: export results to PC or thermal printer
BMI FUNCTION: allows you to calculate the patient's BMI or BMI
UNIT OF MEASUREMENT: allows you to use different units of measurement
STANDBY: temporary blocking of measurement for adding or removing objects to the chair
DIFFERENCE: allows recording of the initial weight and the final weight
ENTER: to confirm the functions
[0] … [9]: digit entry keys

The chair is equipped with a double buffer battery system which allows continuous functionality of both the chair movement system and the weighing system, keeping the two systems isolated.
In the event of any failure of one of the two systems, the functionality of the other is ensured.
1 battery is dedicated to the chair movement system (lasting approximately 50 hours).
1 battery is dedicated to the low energy impact weighing system (duration approximately 60 hours).
The charging time of both batteries is estimated at approximately 2 hours.
If the chair is powered correctly, a green light will appear on the display at the top left.
If it is off, it means that there is some problem relating to the device's power supply (plug disconnected and/or faulty).
The battery charge status can be viewed both on the chair remote control and on the display.
